Students writing in class

College View Elementary is a school committed to the literacy development of all of our students. We are part of Early Literacy Grant Cohort 6 from the Colorado Department of Education (CDE) and in recent years have implemented different resources and strategies approved by CDE that have resulted in closing the opportunity gap a little more every year.

Book Trust

Book Trust is a national non-profit organization that provides all children equitable access to books of choice in order to promote reading motivation and engagement. We have partnered with them for the 23-24 school year and our students will have the opportunity to order books of their preference six times a year. We are very excited to grow the love of reading within our community
