Our School & Community Garden was opened in the fall of 2019. Our mission is to provide a gathering place for school and community members to come together and grow healthy, fresh food such as; kale, lettuce, tomatoes, carrots, squash, peas, corn and a variety of herbs. The garden has given our students a deeper understanding around nutrition and our environment through actively participating in lessons and the planting, care, and harvesting of the garden. The outdoor classroom provides a place for students to learn in natural sunlight and fresh air. Outside of school hours this is a space for our community to gather for meetings, workshops, and fun events.
